Sell an animal

Record a cattle sale with the buyer and price — profit is calculated against the purchase record.

  1. 1Start from the animal: open it in My Herd and choose Sell (or use the Record Sale quick action on the dashboard).
  2. 2Pick the buyer from your register, or add a new buyer on the spot.
  3. 3Enter the price and confirm the date.
  4. 4Save. The animal is marked sold, and the sale appears under Income.

Because the sale links back to the animal's original purchase or birth record, Hurudza can show what the animal actually earned you — sale price against what it cost.

Important: If an animal has recently been treated with medicine, check the withdrawal period before selling it for slaughter. Your Animal Care records show the treatment history.
